Girls Aloud are the most successful UK girl pop group. They have had 20 top ten singles as of January 2009. The group made up of Nadine Coyle, Cheryl Cole, Sarah Harding, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts were formed in November 2002 after winning the female competition of Popstars: With hits like "Sound Of The Underground", "Jump", "Love Machine" and "I'll Stand By You".
Girls Aloud became the first female group to achieve 17 successive Top 10 singles in the UK when "Call The Shots" achieved that feat on 1 December 2007.
